Gustave William Danne who resided at 627 1st Ave. S. W. in Le Mars passed away on February 8, 1958, at his home here. He had been in poor health for the past two years and had been hospitalized several times. Mr. Danne, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Danne, was born September 9, 1877, in Berlin, Germany. He was 80 years of age. His mother was the former Amelia Marx. His marriage to Matilda Bock took place on Jan. 11, 1905 in Le Mars. They had resided here the past 16 years, Mr. Danne was a retired farmer.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February, 11 at 2 p. m. at the Evangelical & - United Brethren church with Rev. C. W. Dehne officiating. Luken's funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the city cemetery. Casket bearers will be Milton and Louis Bureligh, Eldon Danne, Harry Kalas, Everet Kemnitz and Ray Kalas.

Survivors include his wife. Matilda and a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn DeLair both of Mars; two sons. Arnold of Sioux City and Lawrence Danne of Beaverton, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Gusta Bureligh of Gordon, Nebraska and 7 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Luken's funeral home from Monday noon until Tuesday noon. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
