Edward N. Blum

Edward N. Blum, 96. Akron, died Wednesday (Jan. 18, 1978) at a nursing home in Akron. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick Catholic Church Rev. Stanley Stone will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Schroeder funeral home.

Mr. Blum was born Nov. 23, 1881, at Sublette. 111. He farmed in the Le Mars-Akron areas until 1945 when he retired and moved to Akron. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
