Joseph Bourne

Joseph Bourne of LeMars passed away Thursday, March 14 at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Clarence Brauch. He was 72 years of age and had been in failing health for the past six months. Mr. Bourne was born in Lincolnshire, England, and came to the U. S. and Plymouth County July 4. 19I4, and has lived here the entire time.
He was married to Charlotte Merritt on September 13, 1903, in England. He was a member of St. George’s Episcopal Church and the EIks.

Survivors are his wife Charlotte; a son. John R. of Iowa Falls, la.; two daughters. Millicent, Mrs. Clarence Brauch of LeMars. Doris. Mrs. Henry Poeckes, Storm Lake; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and three sisters living in England.

Services will be Saturday. March 6 at St. George's Episcopal church at 1:30 p. m. with Rev. Marlin Whittier officiating. Burial will be in the LeMars City Cemetery. Mauer’s, Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements
