Funeral of Mrs. Betsworth
Was Well Known and Respected Resident of Merrill
The funeral of Mrs. Ed Betsworth; who died at her home in Merrill on Saturday at midnight, of heart failure, was held at the Methodist church in Merrill on Wednesday afternoon and was largely attended by old friends and neighbors. Her death was a shock to. her children and friends coming unexpectedly although it was known that she had been a sufferer from heart trouble for many years.
She was fifty years old this month having been born on December. 20, 1863. She was a good wife and mother, who dedicated her life to her husband and children. Besides her husband, she leaves eight children to mourn her death. Mrs. C. P. Cammickle, Mrs. Frank Calhoun, and Jerome Betsworth, of LeMars; Mrs. T. T. Fletcher and Mrs. C. J. Brown, of Sioux City; Mrs. E. A. Cummickle of Ada, Minn; Edgar. Betsworth, of Adaville and Harold Betsworth, of Merrill.
