AKRON, Iowa—John G. Axelson, 86, of Akron, died Dec. 4 at the Akron hospital after a short illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 6 at the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron. The Rev. David Roy will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Akron.

Mr. Axelson was born Sept. 22, 1888 at Varmland, Sweden. He came to the United States around 1910. He was a farm laborer in the Akron area for several years.

Survivors include a brother, Herman of Akron.
