Gladys E. Swanson

HINTON, Iowa – Gladys E. Swanson, 94, of Charlottesville, Va., formerly of Waynesboro, Va., died Thursday, Aug. 15, 1996, at Martha Jefferson Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Adaville, Iowa. Teague Funeral Service of Charlottesville is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Swanson was born April 12, 1902, in Hinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Swanson.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Foley of Charlottesville; three grandchildren, Claudia Ullevig of Highland Ranch, Colo., J. Parker Foley of Charlotte, N.C., and Melody DeLawter of Charlottesville; six great-grandchildren a sister, Margaret Graham of Sioux City; and a brother, Lloyd Crouch of Le Mars, Iowa.
