Clarence Baker
Clarence Baker. 59, Le Mars, died Thursday (July 19. 1979) at the.VA Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral services were held at Mauer funeral chapel at 9 a.m. Monday. Rev. George McFadden officiated. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Baker was born Dec. 14,1919, in Moville. He farmed near Remsen for eight years and then moved to Le Mars. He was owner-operator of Baker's garage.
He married Carola Adam. Feb. 25, 1948. in Remsen. He was a veteran of world war 2 and belonged to Wasmer post 241.
Survivors include his wife Carola, of LeMars; three daughters, Mrs. Sandra Quitero of Iowa City. Mrs. Barbara Pompe of Waterloo and Pamela Baker of Sergeant Bluff, Richard of LeMars; three brothers. Victor of Kingsley, Roscoe of LeMars and Warren of Ireton; three sisters. Mrs. Warner (Bonnie) Meissner of Lovelock, Nev., Mrs. Melvin (Blanche) Majeres of LeMars and Mrs. Joe (Viola) Gengler of Remsen.
He was proceeded in death by his father. Kenneth and son, Arnold.
