Michael Loutsch

OYENS, Iowa --Michael Loutsch, 76, of rural Oyenns, died Sept. 11 in a Remsen retirement home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 15 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Remsen. The Rev. Nick Ruba will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sept. 14 in the Fisch Funeral Home in Remsen.

Mr. Loutsch was born Nov. 23, 1898, in Remsen. He married Clara Pletschette Feb. 10, 1926, in Oyens Mr. and Mrs. Loutsch farmed in the Oyens area.

Survivors include the widow; four sons, Nicholas and Arnold, both of Sioux City, James of Cedar Rapids, and Marvin of Le Mars; three daughters, Mrs. Farrell (Mary Jane) Marsh of Le Mars, Mrs. Larry (Carol) Schmitz and Mrs. Marion (Marlene) Pinney both of Sioux City; 28 grandchildren; a brother, Emil of Remsen, and a sister, Mrs. Nick (Kate) Ruba of Remsen.
