Earl C. Schenrock, 73, former Plymouth County resident, died Thursday (June 27, 1985) at Humana Hospital in San Antonio, Tex., following a long illness.

Funeral was at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Zion Lutheran Church at Fredericksburg, Tex.

There will be services at 11 a.m. Tuesday (July 2) at Grace Lutheran Church in Le Mars with Rev. H.h. Schauland officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City with graveside services at 2 p.m.

Visitation with family will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Schoenrock was born Oct. 4, 1911, in Plymouth County to Henry and Dora Ideker Schoenrock. He married Lois Gutknecht Aug. 19, 1936, at What Cheer. They farmed in Plymouth County until 1960 when they moved to Sioux City. The couple moved to Brighton, Clo., in 1964 where he worked for Adas County. He retired in 1980 and they moved to Fredericksburg.

He is survived by his wife; a son, James of Le Mars; a sister, Ella Stowater of Marcus; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mabel; and a daughter, Joan.
