Note: Her mother's maiden name is Richardson and Ruth at one time lived in Merrill, Plymouth County, Iowa.

Mrs. Ruth Johnson

Mrs. Ruth Johnson, 81, died Thursday, April 22 in a Goodland, Kansas hospital after a long illness.

A former Sinton resident, she had lived here from 1940 until 1973, when she moved to Rockport and then to Goodland in 1975. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sinton.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First United Methodist Church in Sinton with Rev. Dempsey Salter officiating. Burial was in Sinton Cemetery.

She is survived by a son, Paul Johnson of Dumas, a daughter, Mrs. C. W. Wade of Goodland, a brother, Reuel Brown of Culver City Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Esther Brown of Denver and seven grandchildren.

Paul bearers were Albert Kastner, Lloyd Kastner, Wes Maxwell, Charlie Miller and Glenn Dorris of Mathis.
