Sioux City Journal: Mrs. W. H. Keane, 65 years old, a resident of Sioux City for twenty-five years, who was suddenly stricken with organic heart trouble early Friday morning at her home, 821 Grandview boulevard, died yesterday afternoon at St. Joseph's hospital. Mrs. Keane had not been in good health for a year, but she was seldom confined to her bed. She lost consciousness when stricken Friday morning and never emerged from the coma. From the beginning no hopes were entertained and the children were called to the bedside of their mother.

Mrs. Keane was born In Ohio, July 11, 1850. During her childhood her parents moved to Wisconsin. There she married Mr. Keane in 1868. Her husband engaged in farming until 1890, when the family removed to Sioux City. Mr, Keane is a watchman at the Virginia street crossing of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul railroad.

Surviving Mrs. Keane, besides her husband are six children. They are: Mrs. Ed. Blankenberg, Hinton, Iowa; C. J. Keane, Sioux City; Mrs. George Gordon, Spokane, Wash.; S. E. Keane, Aberdeen, S. D.; Miss Laura Keane, Spokane, Wash., and W. F. Keane, Akron, Iowa. The children from Spokane will not be able to reach Sioux City in time to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Keane was a member of the ladies' auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hiberniana and the Knights and Ladies of Security.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic church. Rev. P. J. O'Connor will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
