Leaves A Husband and Four Little Children

The funeral of Mrs. Kain, wife of Joseph T. Kain, of Lincoln Township, mention of whose death was made in the last issue of this paper, was held on Monday at the Catholic Church at Ellendale, Rev. Father Connelly, of Merrill, officiating, and was attended by a large number of friends and neighbors.

Serena May Abbott was born at Brookfield, Mo., on March 4, 1885. She was united in marriage with Joseph T. Kain, in Colorado Springs, Colo., on February 8, 1910.

A husband and four children survive her; the little ones aged five, three, a year and a half, and an infant son. She is survived by three sisters; Miss Orna Abbatt, of Chillicothe, Mo.; Mrs. C. S. Rutherford, of Reeves, Mo.; Miss Goldie Abbott, of Kansas City, Mo., and two brothers, R. A. Abbott, of Quincy, Il., and Miles Abbott, of Chillicothe, Mo.

Mrs. Kain succumbed to a brief illness and her death is a great shock to her relatives and many friends.

The bereaved husband and the motherless little ones have the sympathy of the community.
