WILLIAM TRAUTT CALLED BY DEATH LAST THURSDAY

Rites Held Saturday Morning For Pioneer Akron Resident

William H. Trautt, 75, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Trautt, were early-day residents here, passed away Thursday, September 10, 1959, at the Leeds Nursing Home, Sioux City, after an extended illness.

William Henry Trautt was born August 16, 1884, at O’Neill, Nebr., and came to Akron with his parents in 1890. He had lived here with the exception of ten years spent at Anchorage, Alaska, as a government employee.

He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Loyal Order of Moose.

Surviving are three brothers, James of Akron, Frank of Tucson, Ariz., and Tom of Minneapolis, and three sisters, Mrs. Anna of Winnebago, Nebr., and Mrs. Mary Riddle and Mrs. Frances Stropbehn, both off Los Angeles, Calif.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. J. G. Skahill officiating. Pallbearers were Paul Lamoureux, Ed. Blum, John Henrich, Jr., Eddie Hillrichs. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery.

Relatives from a distance in attendance were: Mrs. Anna Mohrmann, Winnebago, Nebr., and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Trautt and children of Minneapolis.
