Jack. A. Schultz

John A. (Jack) Schultz a life long resident of Le Mars and vicinity passed away very suddenly on June 17, 1957 at 8:00 a.m. following a heart attack at his home at 916 2nd Ave. S. W. in LeMars.

Mr. Schultz was born June 28, 1894 in LeMars. He was married to Johanna Hacker on March 22, 1917 in Le Mars. Mr. Schultz was presently employed at the Orban Feed Store in Le Mars. For many years previously he worked at the Meis Seed and Feed Store.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Johns American Lutheran church. Rev. L. L. Belk will officiate and burial will be in the Le Mars city cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors include his wife. Johanna: two sons, Karl and Richard of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two grandchildren: 3 brothers, Charles, Frank and Henry all of Le Mars; five sisters; Mrs. Lena Frerichs and Mrs. Anna Null both of Le Mars; Mrs. Ed Harms and Mrs. Katherine Wagner both of Sioux City and Mrs. Bertha Rogers of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ira. He was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran church and of the Masonic Lodge Eastern Star.
