Mrs. Jennie Utech

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Jennie Utech of LeMars, at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, at the St. John’s American Lutheran Church, Rev. L.L. Belk will officiate. Burial will be in the LeMars City cemetery under the direction of the Mauer Funeral Home.

Jennie Attleson was born on September 29, 1895, in New Hampton, Iowa. On September 1, 1927, she was married to George W. Utech at New Hampton, Iowa. Mrs. Utech had been sick for two years before passing away on December 14, 1955, at her farm home. She was 60 years, 2 months, and 15 days old.

Survivors include the husband, George; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Shirley) Berg, of Germany and Carolyn Utech of LeMars; two sons, George Jr. of Ohio and Willard of LeMars; a brother, Andrew Attleson, Jamestown, N.D., a sister Mrs. J.A. Knutson, of Jerrico, Iowa, and a number of nephews and nieces.

Deceased was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and three brothers.
