HOLD RITES FOR SIDNEY S. WYNIA

Former Westfield Farmer Passed Away Oct. 4. At Home In Chatsworth

Mention was made in these columns last week of the death of Sidney S. Wynia, 73, who passed away at his home in Chatsworth, Iowa, Monday evening, October 4, 1948, after a lingering illness.

Before moving to Chatsworth about three years ago, Mr. Wynia had engaged in farming in Plymouth county, southeast of Westfield for thirty years, and was widely known.

Surviving him are his widow, Hattie; three sons, Raymond, of Sioux City; Melvin, of Fortuna, Calif., and Frank of Westfield; five daughters, Mrs. Marie Meredith, of Palo Alto, Claif.; Mrs. Helen Ahrens, of Hawarden, of Hawarden, Iowa; Mrs. Dolly Bonnema, of Le Mars, Iowa; Mrs. Bertha Weise, of Westfied, Iowa; Mrs. Clara Frederickson, of Craing, Iowa; one brother Frank Wynia, of Post Falls, Idaho; a half-brother, Wm. Van De Bruack, of Sioux Center, Iowa; two half-sistrs, Bertha Walrousen, of Ireton, Iowa, and Jane Copman, of Colton, S. D. also by 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held here at the Rossow Funeral Home last Thursday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. O. N. Nelson, pastor of th Methodist church, officiating. Interment was in Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers were Dewey Lyle, Wm. Schweisow, Bill Rounds, Chris Kluver, Geo. Moehlmann and G. Ludwig, Sr., all of Chatsworth.
