Foster J. Rowe

Foster James Rowe, 76, of LeMars, died Friday (Sept. 16.1983) at Brentwood Nursing Home in LeMars. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in LeMars With Rev. Robert Grupp officiating. Burial was in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer-Jonnson Funeral Home.

Foster Rowe was born March 2, 1907, in Plymouth County to Charlie and Hilda. He married Louise Heeren on Nov.18,1929, in LeMars. He was a retired farmer who moved into LeMars in 1955.

Survivors are his wife, two sisters, Mrs. Edythe Eilks and Mrs. Ethel Brown, both of LeMars.

Mr. Rowe was a member of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother
