Former LeMars Painter Died Tuesday In Sioux.City Hospital

Thomas Gooch, for many years a painter in LeMars, died in a Sioux City hospital Tuesday, aged 91 years. He was born in London, England, March 18, 1856, and came to LeMars in 1879, where he lived until he moved to Sioux City ten years ago, A daughter, Mrs, Charles Shuenk, Sioux City, survives him.

Funeral services were held Thursday at the Anderson funeral home with Rev. Victor Schuldt of Wesley Methodist church in charge and burial was in Graceland Park cemetery.
