Death of 0ld Resident

August Piepenberg died at his home in Elgin township on Sunday, aged 68 years and ten months. He .had been sick for the past two months with dysentery and other complications. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the home at one o'clock and at the German Methodist church at half past two o'clock, Rev.G..C, Rheinfrank officiating.

Mr. Piepenberg was a native of Germany coming to this country and Plymouth county between sixteen and seventeen years ago. His wife died eight years ago. He made his home with his son-in-law, Herman; Utech He was the father, of Mrs. August Utech, Mrs. Herman Utech, Mrs. T. Schunk and Mrs. Herman Foulke, and an uncle of Mrs. Wm. Utech Jr, who all reside in this county.

Mr. Piepenberg was greatly respected in the neighborhood where he lived being a good citizen and neighbor
