Georgina Shuenk

Georgina Shuenk; 91, Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of LeMars, died Wednesday (Jan. 12,1983) at a hospital at Hollywood, Calif. She was a sister of the late Mrs. Jacob Koenig, mother of Jean Koenig.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m. at the Mauer Funeral Home with Rev. Robert L. Grupp of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Shuenk, the former Georgina Nicholson, was born March 25,1871, in LeMars, the daughter of the late James B. and Georgina Laing Nicholson. She married William Shuenk Nov. 21,1917, in LeMars.

She was a homemaker and lived in Le Mars until moving to Los Angeles in 1936.

Mrs. Shuenk was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 30,1922, two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors are a son W. Richard Shuenk, Los Angeles, Calif.
