Mrs. Ideker Dead
Was Long Time Resident of Lincoln Township
Deceased Was Born In Germany
Death Occurred at the Family Home In Hinton on Thursday Night- Leaves Her Husband, Four Sons and a Daughter
Mrs. Henry Ideker, wife of Henry Ideker, an old and well known resident of Plymouth county, died at her home in Hinton on Thursday night. She had been in poor health for some time .Mrs. Ideker was a native of Germany. Her maiden name was Sophia Bartling and she was born in Hanover on February 28, 1846, and was seventy-two years and five months old. She came to this country when a young woman and with her husband came to Plymouth county about forty years ago.
They lived In Lincoln township for many years and were very successful in farming and became possessed of two thousand acres of land by hard toil and industry. They went to Hinton a short time ago, returning from farm work, to make their home.
Mrs. Ideker is survived by her husband, her daughter, Mrs. Julius Muecke , and four sons, Henry, Hermann, Freemont of Lincoln township and Edmond, of LeMars. The funeral as held on Sunday afternoon at the Lincoln township church, Rev.Marth officiating and was largely attended by old friends and neighbors.
