Irene, 6-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boetger, northwest of town, in Union County, S. D., passed away Tuesday, March 20, 1917, after an illness of about four weeks. The child had tonsil trouble, from which general infection resulted and death caused by embolus. She was a bright and affectionate child, and the bereaved parents and family have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.

A long procession of neighbors and friends accompanied the remains and the sorrowing family to the Akron Baptist church this (Thursday) afternoon, where the funeral service was conducted by the pastor, Rev. F. E. Volck. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery.
