Fred Breitbarth

Fred Breitbarth, 83, of Akron, died of a long illness (May 3, 1975) in the Akron nursing home.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Rev. Durwood Clauson officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with Schroeder Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Breitbarth was born Dec. 10, 1891, at Bancroft, Neb. He married Helene Joost June 8, 1915, at Pender, Neb. The couple farmed near Pender until 1936, then near Akron until 1943 when they moved to Akron. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Pall bearers were: Raymond Tapper, Walter Klemme, Glenn Molzen, Greg Breitbarth, Dale Schnier, and Larry Schnier.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, Randall of Akron, Vernon of Phoenix, aria., and Glen of Norwalk, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Delora) Schnier of Norfolk, Neb., and Mrs. William (Joan) Fleming of St. Paul, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Fred (Doris) Albertson of Bancroft, Neb.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
