Funeral Services For Will Schuldt Monday

Funeral services for Will Schuldt, 61, who died at a Sioux City hospital, April 4th, were held in the Congregational Church at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 8th. The American Legion, of which he was a membr, truned out en masse and a guard of honor was maintained over the casket. At the graveside, their Chaplain, Mr. Floyd Phelps, gave the committal prayer and the honor guar fired a farewell salute Taps were sounded, and the flag removed from the casket and presented to Mrs. Schuldt.

Pallbearers were Joe Aker, Sime Gable, Ben Wessling, Emmet McDermott, Del Spink, Ray Hearn, Leo Carel and Ray Hawkins.

Musical selections were furnished by Joan Bleil, Mrs. roy Meister and Mrs. Herbert Brewster, and they were accompanied by Mrs. Roy Wright.

Burial was made in the Kingsley Cemetery under the direction of the Dickison Funeral Home.

Obituary

Will Schuldt was born December 5, 1895, near Moville where he was reared. He was united in marriage February 12, 1920, to Cecelia Singer. They moved to a farm near Kingsley where he resided until his death. He was a World War I veteran, and was an active member of Nash Post of the American Legion.

He is survived by the widow, a son, William E. of Marcus, a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Wenzel, a sister, Miss Elsie Schuldt of Moville, three brothers, Henry, John, and Hans of Moville, and eight grandchildren.
