Funeral Services Sept. 9th For Mrs. Will Schuldt, 77
Mrs. Wilheilm Schuldt, the former Cecelia Della Singer, age 77, died at the Cherokee Hospital, Saturday night, September 6.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, from St. Michael's Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Eugne Ceprley officiating. Interment was in the Kingsley cemetery with the Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Alvin, Merlin, and Melvin Singer, Leo McDermott, Roman Galles and Ben Wessling. Lector was Mike Woods and Acolytes were Pat O'Keefe, Donal Madden and Richard Lage.
A. C. D. of A. and parish rosary were held on Monday at the Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Schuldt was born in Lincoln Township Plymouth County, on February 29, 1892, the daughter of Leonard and Cathrine Matter (Mader) Singer. She married Mr. Schuldt on February 12, 1920, at Le Mars, Iowa, and they farmed near Kingsley most of their lives.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Wm. E. Schuldt at Nevis, Minnesota; and a daughter, Mrs. Verlyn (Charlotte) Wenzel of Kingsley; two sisters, Miss Nellie Singer of Le Mars and Mrs. Ben (Amanda) Byers of Hinton; three brothers, Francis Singer of Remsen and Albert and Clarence Singer, both of Le Mars; 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Preceeding her in death were her husband, a granddaughter and three brothers and one sister.
