Mrs. Worth Case Died Last Sunday

Mrs. Worth Case, a resident of Plymouth county for sixty years, died at her home in Kingsley last Sunday morning, after an illness of several months.

Louise Frederica Ahrens, daughter of Henry and Amelia Ahrens, was born in DeKalb county, Illinois, July 20, 1870. She came to madison county, Iowa, with her parents in 1879 and to Plymouth county in 1883.

On September 3rd, 1887, she was united in marriage to Worth Case, in Le Mars, Iowa. Seven children were born to this union, five sons and two daughters. Two sons and her husband preceed her in death.

She moved to Kingsley in march, 1898, and has lived here ever since. She passed away April 12th, aged 71 years, 9 months, and 1 days.

She was truly a mother devoted to her home and family. She leaves to mourn her loss three sons, Grant, Will, and Harold, all of Kingsley, her aughters, Mrs. addie Igou, of South Gate, Calif, and Mrs. Bessie Southwick, of Sergeant Bluffs, Iowa, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Emma Riordan, of Correctionville, Iowa, Mrs. Carrie Maurer, of Kimball, S. Dak., and one brother, August Ahrens, also survive.

Funeral services were conducted at the Dickinson Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. M. L. Metealf, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge. Interment was made in the ingsley cemetery.
