The funeral of John Treweiler, a resident of Plymouth county for many years, was held on Saturday at, the Beely undertaking rooms, Rev. C. H. Seward, of the Methodist church, officiating.

Mr. Treweiler died on Thursday following an attack of pneumonia. He was 58 years of age and was born in Clayton county, Iowa, on August 1, 1863. He came to Plymouty when a young man and worked on farms and at other occupations.

Mr. Treweiler was possesed of a fine physique and in his youth was noted as one of the strongest men in the county and he was credited with being able to do two or three men's work without fatigue. He was a good citizen and was liked by a large number who knew him.

He leaves a brother, Louis Treweiler, and a sister Mrs. Rhodes, of this city.
