Louis Trieweiler, 85, Carpenter Here, Died
Louis Trieweiler, 85, a resident of Plymouth county since 1882, died Tuesday at Zimmerman Memorial home. Funeral services will be Friday from Mauer's funeral home at 2 p.m., the Rev. V. B. Bartz will officiate. Interment will be in the Le Mars city cemetery.
Mr. Trieweiler was born April 10, 1864, at Elkader, Iowa, the son of Matthew and mary Trieweiler. He moved to Pymouth county 68 years ago and plied his trade as a carpenter. For the past few years his residence has been the Zimmerman home.
Mr. Trieweiler was preceded in death by his parents, three half brothers; Ed, Henry, and Joe Clipper of Lake Benton, Minn.; and a half sister, Mrs. Mary Boland of Elkader.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Anna Rhoades of Le Mars. Others surviving him are three nieces and one nephew; Mrs. George Lamb, Mrs. Kathryn Bollin, and Everett Rhoades all of Le Mars, and Mrs. Iona Nitz of Sioux City. Several nieces and nephews still living in Elkaer also survive him.
