STROKE PROVED FATAL
Hinton Telephone Manager Stricken with Paralysis
Gilbert W. Harrison, a long time resident of Hinton, and widely known in the southern part of the county, suffered a stroke of paralysis while walking on the street in Hinton on Tuesday afternoon. The attack was fatal and his death ensued at midnight.
Mr. Harrison was a son of the late Ben Harrison, one of the early residents of Lincoln township and was brought up on the farm and attended school and college. He was engaged in the general merchandise business in Hinton for a number of years. He was one of the promoters of the Hinton telephone company and has been cosely connected with its growth and general management.
Gilbert Harrison was married to Miss Florence Perrin, who with three sons and four daughters survive the husband and father. He also leaves a brother, Bert Harrison, and a sister, Mrs. Lillie Dean, living nerar Hinton.
Mr. Harrison was a member of the Masonic fraternity.
The funeral was held yesterday at the Methodist church to Hinton and the interment made at GRaceland Park cemetery in Sioux City. Members of the Masonic lodges n Sioux City, of which the deceased was a member, conducted the services at the grave side.
O. H. Green, of this city, a brother-in-law of the deceased went to Hinton yeasterday to attend the funeral.
