Mrs. Charles Barthold, 61, of Remsen, died June 21, 1975, at Floyd Valley hospital after a lingthy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church in Remsen. Rev. Tom Renquist will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home of Remsen.

Mrs. Barthole, the former Molly Rann, was born July 15, 1913, near Remsen.

She was a lifetime resident of the Remsen area. She was married April 16, 1940, in Remsen. Mr. Barthole was salesman for the MacDonald vitamized Seed Co., Fort Dodge, for 35 years in the NW Iowa district. He was director of the company for 15 years and retired 5 years ago.

Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Dan (Darleen) Ruhland of Remsen; her father, Henry C. Rann of Remsen; a brother, Adolph Rann of Remsen; and two grandchildren.
