John H. Vanderham Akron Area Resident 60 Years, Is Dead

Funeral services for John Henry Vanderham, 79, longtime resident of the Akron vicinity who died Saturday, Dec. 18, at a Lincoln, Neb., hospital following a long illness, were at 2 p.m. last wednesday at the Lewison funeral home at Akron.

Rev. Luther Meyer, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran church at akron, officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery at Akron.

Mr. Vanderham was born Oct. 29, 1875, at Monticello, Iowa. He moved to the Akron community about 60 years ago. He had lived at the Immanuel home for the aged at Omaha since 1932.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Anna Degan at Akron, and two brothers, David of Akron and Henry of Hawarden.
