Mrs. Carl (Bonnie Esther) Schomacker who resided at 3 3rd Avenue Northeast-in Le Mars passed away unexpectedly at the Sacred Heart hospital following a very short sickness. Her death came on February 1, 1960.

Bonnie Bensley was born August 28, 1905, at Cleghorn, Iowa. She came to Plymouth county in 1910 and has since resided here. Her marriage to Carl F. Schomacker took place on April 17, 1928 in Le Mars. She was the daughter of John Bensley and Mrs. Bertha McIntosh Bensley.

Funeral services were today, February 4 at 2 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran church in Le Mars. Burial was in the Le Mars city cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral home. Rev. L. L. Belk officiated at last rites.

Survivors include her husband, Carl and a daughter, Mrs. N. R. (Vilas) Kreykes both of Le Mars and one grandchild; her mother, Mrs. Bertha Bensley of Le Mars; two sisters, Mrs. Ferrell (Mary) Kelley of Sioux City; Mrs. John (June) Vander Schaaf of Westfield and a brother Melvin Bensley of Tuscon, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Everett, and two sisters, one in infancy and a sister, Della. She was a member of St. John's American Lutheran church.
