Note: He lived in Plymouth County Iowa and attended Westfield School. His mother's maiden name was Bensley. His wife's maiden name was Meyer.

John Kenneth Vander Schaaf, 62, of Lakewood, Colo., formerly of Sioux City, died Friday, May 30, 2003, in Lakewood following a lengthy illness.

Private services were held in Fort Logan, Colo.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Jacquelyn; a son, Kenneth; a daughter, Diane Miller of Lakewood; four grandchildren; and four brothers, Mike of Sioux City, Russ of Akron, Iowa, Paul of Sioux Falls, S. D., and Steve of Alecester, S. D.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Vander Schaaf; and a son, John Vander Schaaf Jr.
