Chad Borchers

Chad Borchers, 3, son of Jan and Gregory J. Borchers of Salix, died Monday (Jan. 15, 1979) at University hospitals, Iowa City, after a 6-week illness with leukemia.

His parents are former Le Mars residents.

Chad was born Jan. 13, 1976, in Sioux City. His birthday was last Saturday.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church on Myrtle St., Sioux City. Burial will be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, under direction of the Nelson-Berger funeral northside chapel. A prayer service at the funeral home will be at 7 p.m. Friday.

Survivors are his parents; two sisters, Monica and Kimberly; two brothers Jeff and Brian, all at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Carlson, Sioux City, and Mr. and Mrs. William Beckmann, Cape Coral, Fla.
