Virgil Harris

Virgil Harris, 74, of Akron, died (October 22, 1975) at a Sioux City hospital ofa brief illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 in St. Patrick Catholic church at Akron. Father Jerry Coyle officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron.

Pallbearers were Gerald Henrich, Jack Henrich, Phillip Benard, Jim Wright, Francis Gale and R. D. Clark.

Mr. Harris was born September 28, 1901 at Akron. He married Bernice Ross, May 12, 1940, at Akron area until 1968 when they reitred to Akron.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Ann Green of Omaha, and Mrs. Kathleen Wienhold of Minneapolis; one son, Greg of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Snyder of Akron.
