JOHN E. SIEBENS DIES UNEXPECTEDLY RITES THURSDAY

John Eilt Sieberts, 72, route 3, Plymouth county retired farmer, died unexpectedly Sunday at his farm home near Brunsville after several months of ailing health.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter Lutheran church, Brunsville. Rev. Cyril Jandry will officiate. Interment will be in the Le Mars city cemetery. A prayer service will be conducted at 9 p.m. Wednesday at Mauer's funeral home. The body will be taken to the church in Brunsville at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Mr. Siebens was born Dec. 31, 1888, near Rockford, Ill., the son of Eilt and Fauke Satthoff (or Saathoff) Siebens. He came to Plymouth county as a child or and had resided here since.

His marriage to Anna L. Rieken took place Jan. 27, 1920, in Le Mars. She died in 1944. Also preceding him in death were tow brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Orval and Mrs. Gordon (Marlis) Linstrand, both of rural Le Mars, Mrs. Joe B. (Margaret) Krogman of Portland, Ore., and John Jr. of Omaha; five grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Dena Fischer of Los angeles, Mrs. Minnie Borchers of rural Le Mars and Mrs. John Johnson, of Le Mars.
