NOTE: From other family members' obituaries her first name is Minnie. Her mother's maiden name is Taddiken. Per her tombstone, her birth year is 1885.

MRS. M. F. EILERS DIES

Was Member of Well Known Plymouth County Family

The people of Craig vicinity and the west part of Plymouth County were shocked and grieved when the word came that Mrs. M. F. Eilers, of Preston Township, had died at the Methodist hospital in Sioux City Wednesday morning, December 4. The lady had been ailing for some time and all that medical administered was to no avail and the second week in November she was operated on at the hospital, when it was found that she was suffering from cancer of the spine. Since the operation she failed gradually.

Mrs. Eilers was about 42 years of age and had lived in this county with her husband for about eighteen years.

Deceased leaves her beloved husband, a sister and six brothers, who age; Mrs. Charles Mammen, Henry, William, Ben, August, Louis and John Borchers. G. E. Eilers, of this city, is a brother-in-law of the deceased.

The funeral was held Friday afternoon from the home in Grant township Lutheran church, Rev. J. J. Vollmar, of Le Mars, officiating.
