MRS. ALICE RABY, 79, OF MERRILL SUCCUMBS AT NURSING HOME

Mrs. Alice Jane Raby, 79, of Merrill died Saturday morning at a LeMars nursing home after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Raby was born June 17, 1884, at Sergeant Bluff, the daughter of William and Grace Angove. She lived in Woodbury and Plymouth counties all her life. She was united in marriage to Alfred Raby, Oct. 5, 1902, at Sioux City.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Kamm of Sioux City; three sons, Delbert and Chester, both of Merrill,. Iowa, and Herbert of Akron; two sisters, Maude Hansen of Winter, S; D.,,and Florence Karrer of Sioux, City; two brothers, Archie and Howard Angove, both of Sioux City; nine; grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday,at 1:30 p.m; at the Evangelical United Brethren church near Merrill.

Interment will be at Graceland Park cemetery, Sioux City, under the direction of the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside.
