DEATH SUMMONS MRS. IDA WARREN
Rites Held Friday For Former Akron And Westfield Woman
Mrs. Ida Warren, 69, of Sioux city, a former resident of Akron and Westfield vicinities died Wednesday, January 11, in a hospital in that city after a brief illness.
Ida Pelroy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pelroy was born March 14, 1886, in Akron, Ia. She resided in the Westfield, Ia., vicinity before going to Sioux City. She was marriaged October 22, 1901, in Akron, to George Warren.
Surivors include the widower, three sons, Miles, of Redonio Beach, Calif.; Clifford of Watertown, Wis., and Leonard of Sioux City; three daughters, Mrs. Josephine Bovee, Mrs. Veronica De Grandmont and Mrs. Dorothy Rolfes, all of sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Tille Warren, of Elk Point, S. D.; a brother, Fred Pelroy, of Dakota City, Nebr.; a half sister, Mrs. Kate Montange, of Elk Point, and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held last friday at the Cathedral of Ephiphany in Sioux City, Rev. Msgr. J. J. Berger officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery there.
