Martin Ericson

Funeral services for Martin Ericson, 83, former Akron councilman who died Sunday at a hospital after a heart attack, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Union Creek Lutheran church. Rev. David Roy will officiate and burial will he in the church cemetery under the direction of the Lewison funeral home.

Mr. Ericson was born March 4, 1875 in Union county, S.D, He was a member of Union Creek Lutheran church and served on the board of directors of the Farmers' Cooperative. He farmed in Union county until his retirement in 1915.

Survivors are a brother, William of Akron; two sisters, Mrs, Adina Hultgren of Akron and Mrs. Louise Harker of Harwarden.
