Helen Noble

Helen Noble, 75, of Ireton, died Friday, February 12, 1988 at a Sioux City hospital. Services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 1988 at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Craig with the Rev. Jack Hebard officiating. Burial was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Craig.

Mrs. Noble, formerly Helen Borchers, was born April 8, 1912 in Plymouth County. She married Clifford Noble on Jan. 26, 1932 at Creston Township rural Akron. Mr. Noble died in 1958. She was a Plymouth County resident all her life.

She was a member of the St. John Evangelical Church since 1937, A.L.C.W. of the church and Craig senior citizens.

Survivors include four sons, Wesley of Jefferson, SD, Stanley of South Sioux City, Richard of Gary, NC and Gary of Hernando, MS; a brother, William of LeMars; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in her name with St. John Lutheran Church in Craig.
