Norman G. Anderson

Norman G. Anderson, 81 of Akron died Tuesday ((Oct. 5, 1982) in a Sioux City hospital after brief illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron. The Rev. Marvin Mueller officiated. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Anderson was born July 1 1901, at Elk Point, S. D.

He married Elma Jurgensen Betcke in 1962 at Alcester, S. D. He farmed for many years around the Spink, S. D. area and was a farm laborer in that area for many years. He reitred and moved to Akron in 1979.

Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Ruppert of Austin, Minn. and Mrs. Alvina Albert of Sioux City; one brother, Paul of Akron and one stepson Marvin Betcke of Siou City.
