DEATH SUMMONS ARTHUR ANDERSON

Heart Attack Fatal To Former Akron Man; Rites Held Tuesday

Arthur J. Anderson 56, of Elk Point, a former Akron resident, died of a sudden heart attack as he was entering Winter Garden a dance hall in Sioux City, Saturday evening December 25.

Mr. Anderson was born December 14, 1898 in Akron the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Anderson and spent his youth here. He was married to Miss Levada Harkness here in 1919. He was married to Miss Levada harkness here in 1919. He was employed as a section man by the Milwaukee railroad for a number of years at Westfield and Hawarden, and the past three years was section foreman at Elk Point. He was highly esteemed by all who knew him.

Survivors besides the widow are five daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hummel, of Alcester S. D.; Mrs. Mildred Yates, Mrs. Marie Dziurawiez, and Mrs. Malva Trobaugh, all of Sioux City and Mrs. Marietta Brown, of Akron; his mother, Mrs. Emily Guss, of Los angeles; 12 grandchildren; two brothers Herbert, of Jasper Minn., and Race of Boulder, Colo., and a sister, Mabel of LIncoln, Nebr.

The funeral was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Elk Point Congregational Church which he attended, Rev. O. F. Elbe officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Akron.
