FUNERAL OF LUDWIG BERG HELD TODAY

Pioneer Resident Was Well Known In This Community--Dies at 67 Years of Age

Ludwig Johann Carl Berg died at his home in Struble Monday morning at the age of 66 years, 4 months, and 7 days. Heart trouble was the cause of his death.

The funeral was held this afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home and at 2 o'clock at the Grant Township Lutheran Church, Rev J. D. Meyer officiating. Burial was made in Grant Township. Lukens funeral directors were in charge.

Mr. Berg was born on December 22, 1862, in Germany and came to Grant Township in 1880. He was united in marriage on February 25, 1887, in Grant Townhip. In 1918 he quit farming and moved to struble, where he has lived ever since.

He leaves his beloved wife and one daughter, Mrs. Jurgen Harms; a sister, Mrs. Jergen Renken, and a brother, Herman Berg, besides five grandchildren.
