Fred C. Beckman
Graveside services for Fred C. Beckman, 74, are slated for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Chloride Cemetery with the Veterans for Foreign Wars Post No. 9833 officiagting. Mr. Beckman died Thursday at Silver Ridge Village in Bullhead City.
Born Dec. 13, 1914, in Westfield, Iowa, he came to Arizona from California 16 years ago. Mr. Beckman worked as a crane operator in construction and was a member of the Operator Engineers Local No. 12. 12 in Dolan Springs.
H e also was a past commander of the VFW Post No. 9633 of Dolan Springs Beckman served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife Garnett Beckman of Mohave Ranchos; one son Daniel BEckman of Kingman; on daughter, Connie Ainlay of Kingman; two sisters, Min Pollack of Iowa and deana Calhoun of Rapid City, S. D.; and four grandchildren.
