Note: She is buried in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery. Her first name is Rachel. The last name is actually spelled Betsworth.

Mrs. Thomas Bettsworth died at the home of her son, Thomas Bettsworth Jr. in Le Mars on Monday evening at the age of seventy-one years.

The funeral was held on Wednesday at her home, Rev. McDonald of the M. E. Church conducting the services.

Deceased had resided in Plymouth county for a long time being one of the very early settlers in the county.

Sine the death of her husband some years ago deceased has made her home with her sons at Merrill, and Le Mars.

Five children are living, four sons and one daughter. Threee of the sons are Edward, Charles, and John and the daughter is Mrs. Andy Dohrety of Seney.
