Patrick H. Dunn Akron Resident For Many Years

Patrick H. Dunn, a resident of Akron for many years, passed away Friday, August 31, 1934, at the state hospital, Cherokee, where he had been under treatment the past year. His death was due to pneumonia.

Mr. Dunn was born in eastern Iowa in 1870 and came to Plymouth county in the early days of settlement. He never married. A man of upright, Christian character, jovial and wholesouled, he was liked by everyone and gained many friends.
He is survied by three sisters, Mrs. McCarthy, of Sheldon; Mrs. T. J. Redmond and Miss Maggie Dunn, of Akron, and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Patrick's Catholic church, Akron, conducted by Rev. Father J. A. Roder. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery.
