MRS. ELSIE FROST 75, WIDOW OF FORMER MERRILL EDITOR, DIES AT GRAND MOUND

Mrs. L. J. Walker received word last Friday, Jan. 19, of the death of her sister, Mrs. Elsie Harker Frost, 75, at Grand Mound, Iowa, after a long illness.

Mrs. Frost grew up in Merrill. Her husband, James Frost, was employed by William Julian, who printed the Merrill Record. After leaving Merrill, Mr. and Mrs. Frost edited and printed the Grand Mound Press. Mr. Frost died in 1955.

Mrs. Frost is survived by the niece she raised, Mrs. Kenneth Crosby, (Lovis Harker); a sister, Mrs. L. J. Walker, Merrill and a brother, John Harker of Sioux City. Another niece, Mrs. Wayne Penning, resides in California, and a nephew, Lewis Walker, lives in Sterling, Ill.
