Requiem Mass Set Tuesday For C. J. Walker Requiem Mass will be held Tuesday at St. Martin’s Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. for Clifford J. Walker, 71, who died Saturday at his home at 578 Fourth Street SW. The Rev. Norman Maras O.M. will officiate. Burial will be at St Michael’s Cemetery, Sioux Falls at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jack McAloon, Dick Grace, Gerald Strub, Vincent Dunn, Joe DeVitt, and Gene Garry. Rosary will be recited Monday at 8 p.m. in the Welter Funeral Home. The family prefers memorials. Walker was born March 30, 1895 in Akron, Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis J. Walker. The family moved to Blunt, where L.J. Walker was railroad agent several years. C.J. Walker began employment at the age of 16 with the C. and N.W. Railway at Canning. He served as agent at Canning, Esmond, and Carthage. Following his retirement he moved to Huron five years ago. Survivors include two sons, Gordon, Minneapolis and Darrell, Huron. 12 grandchildren, one half brother Lewis J. Walker Jr. Rock Valley, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in June 1953, his mother Mollie, his father L.J., his stepmother Lyda, and half sister, Rosemary Lennon.

AMNOUNCEMENT
Requiem High Mass will be sung for Clifford J. Walker in St. Martin's Church by the Rev. Father Norman Maras O.F.M. Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the St. Michaels Cemetery at Sioux Falls. Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 8 p.m. in the Welter Funeral Home.
