J. B. BRUSCHER DIED FRIDAY
Funeral Services Held On Monday Morning At Oyens

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock from St. Catherine’s church at Oyens for J. B. Bruscher who died Friday (November 24, 1939) at his home. Rev Henry Rolfes officiated and interment was made in St. Catherine’s cemetery under the direction of Wiltgen’s funeral home. Pallbearers were: Joe Kemp, J. P. Rolling, Jack Watry, Tony Wittkop, N. J. Wiltgren, Chas. Kuster.

J. B. Bruscher was born October 31, 1870, in Luxembourg and at the time of his death was 69 years and 23 days of age. He came to America at the age of 21 and after living in Chicago for a year; he came to Plymouth county and has lived here since. Mr. Bruscher followed the occupation of farming.

On January 20, 1904, he married Margaret Schroeder at Remsen. His wife preceded him in death in July of this year.

Surviving to mourn his passing are five daughters and two sons: Mrs. John Graser (Margaret); Mrs. Peter De Blauw (Anna); Mrs. Ray Flynn (Helen); Viola at home; Mrs. Charles Eufers (Justine); Emil and Mathias. There are also 12 grandchildren. Five brothers also survive: Henry Bruscher of New Orleans; Michael Bruscher, of Ohio, and three brothers who live in Europe. One sister and three brothers also preceded him in death.
